1+1=3 Talk with Krisztina Adamy
Krisztina Adamy and Sonja Schweitzer (Die Wohnkompanie) have perfectly realised "One and one is three" at Höchstädtplatz 3. Krisztina in an interview about the most important cornerstones.
Which project would you most like to talk about? Please describe it in 3 short sentences!
Wohnkompanie is developing the "Höchstädtplatz 3" project together with project partner 6B47 on an area surrounded by 4 streets. A comprehensive neighbourhood development consisting of individual, recognisable buildings on an urban scale, which complement the urban fabric in a harmonious interplay of old and new. The building project consists of 6 components, 2 of which are listed buildings and will be renovated almost true to the original. The remaining four components are new residential buildings with a total of around 430 flats and a local supermarket, which surround two spacious inner courtyards.
What makes this project special for you?
I have been involved in the construction project since the preliminary design phase and the project has grown close to my heart over the years. I am delighted to be able to contribute to a particularly interesting project and to have the opportunity to improve my own knowledge and skills as a planner and as a person.
What was the biggest challenge with this building?
I would say the biggest challenge was to plan a development that fulfils the official regulations and still contributes to contemporary and functional living. There were some difficulties that we were able to overcome together thanks to the good and harmonious cooperation with the project participants.
Who was your most important contact for this project and how would you describe the collaboration?
I worked with both property developers on the construction project. Due to the complexity of the project, I would name Sonja Schweitzer from Wohnkompanie as the most important contact person, who supervised the project with a high level of commitment throughout. The collaboration with her was smooth right from the start. We always got on well because we agreed on the fundamental values. Our collaboration was characterised by the highest quality, cost-effectiveness and creative freedom.
What generally characterises your contact person in particular?
For her, the most important thing was always to create a beautiful residential neighbourhood for the future residents. She masters every challenge with a high level of expertise, makes decisions after careful consideration and always keeps an eye on profitability. I am looking forward to the next challenge and hope that we can develop many more beautiful projects together.
