For us, "efficient work" is more than just lip service. But what does that mean in concrete terms?
Every building is unique, which means that the authorities check each time whether the property fulfils the legal requirements. The building regulations leave plenty of room for interpretation. As an architect, it is important to always be up to date with the latest building regulations. And, of course, to interpret them in such a way that there are no long delays in the approval process.
Planning is everything. It's not just about designing the building correctly. It's also about taking the right steps in the work processes right from the start. One after the other. Prioritising is important and some details can be decided at a later stage - if the discussion takes too much time, no one involved wins.
We like to involve our clients closely in the processes. And sometimes even help them to scrutinise their own workflow and make it more effective.
Our extensive wealth of experience helps us to approach every new project on the basis of lessons learnt from completed properties. This saves time, effort and, of course, costs.
Of course, we are also at the cutting edge of technology. We plan every building using the BIM standard and look forward to the day when this becomes the standard implemented by everyone - it would certainly be a huge leap towards planning reliability and, of course, even greater efficiency.
