One and one is three - Bernd Kubinger - Andreas Hawlik - Würth Salzburg

We live "one and one is three". Together with our clients, we create buildings that put people and their needs at the centre. It is particularly important to us to work in partnership and constructively with our clients as equals. Andreas Hawlik: Bernd Kubinger represents Würth's corporate culture in the best possible way. Despite its growth, the Group has succeeded in maintaining a collegial atmosphere and always keeping the project objective in focus. Trust and appreciation are always palpable, which creates a real sense of enjoyment at work. The Würth Salzburg project is not only a good example of the many years of cooperation between our office and Würth, but also of how a 35-year-old existing building can be transformed into a contemporary base. The requirements for the installation of PV systems, the thermal refurbishment and, last but not least, the contemporary working conditions ensure that the existing building will be preserved for decades to come. Mr Kubinger, what do you like about working with Hawlik Gerginski? "The collaboration is characterised by openness and honesty in finding solutions. These qualities form the basis for an effective and trusting working relationship. What is particularly valuable is that not only are the specific challenges and problems addressed, but also an atmosphere is created in which the employees in the properties concerned feel heard and valued." What do you find special about the architecture and design of the Würth Salzburg / Böheimkirchen project? "The architecture and design of this project are characterised by a successful refreshment that is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also integrates innovative functions that benefit both our employees and our customers. The integration of training facilities directly on site is particularly noteworthy. Another special feature is the integration of state-of-the-art building technology, in particular the PV system. This system is not only environmentally friendly, but also enables the efficient utilisation of renewable energy sources. The combination with electric heating to reduce gas consumption is a particularly clever move that not only saves costs but also contributes to environmental protection." During the planning phase, you worked with Arch. DI Andreas Hawlik during the planning phase. How would you describe the collaboration? "The collaboration with DI Andreas Hawlik was characterised by exemplary partnership and commitment in the agreements made. This reliability formed the basis for a successful project. Particularly noteworthy is the consistent adherence to the budget and the clear prioritisation of the conversion without disrupting ongoing operations. This required a high degree of planning expertise and flexibility to ensure that all work was carried out seamlessly and efficiently."
