Cyrus Asreahan is Managing Director of the Vienna branch of C&P Immobilien AG. Among other things, the company is currently developing 131 flats at Genochplatz 1 in Vienna's Donaustadt district.

1. What is most important to you when planning a property project?

Fundamentally, the project must be adapted to the needs of the users. Most things can be done right and most things can be done wrong in the planning stage. Many factors have to be taken into account; architects are also there to ensure that the economic specifications are set in the right direction. The biggest challenge is to incorporate and harmonise as many interests as possible. It's perfect if you have a good team that works together to minimise mistakes.

2 What does "good" architecture mean to you?
Good architecture shouldn't just look good from the outside. Many people are dazzled by that. Good architecture only happens on the inside and works. It is designed to last for decades. Designing a modern eye-catcher is not difficult. But good architecture is when it is planned for the long term, the property has to be attractive and functional over a long period of time.

3. What do you think are Hawlik Gerginski's strengths?
Hawlik Gerginski does exactly that, they ask the right questions during the planning stage. The most important thing is the soft skills, it's great fun working with everyone there, I feel like I'm in good hands. The quality of planning and local construction supervision is perfect. We are now realising our sixth project together, so this is the best proof of how well the collaboration works

4. What fond memories do you have of this collaboration?

We had an architectural excursion together in Amsterdam. We saw a lot of great buildings and gained a lot of inspiration.

The motto is lived. Acting humanly is important and the reason why we are a long-standing partner. An idea is powerful when it takes the partnership forward, when it thinks outside the box, when the players show courage. And we work efficiently anyway.
