We enjoy working for...
...Alfons Steiner. Together with him, we realised the project in Geigergasse for ARE.
What is most important to you when planning a property project?
Of course, the economic parameters and compliance with them take centre stage. But I also attach great importance to innovative ideas, especially for the ecological concept of a building. At least as important for me, however, is a cooperative working relationship that is characterised by calmness and a certain composure.
What does "good" architecture mean to you?
An old saying goes: "Only what is good can be beautiful." The design must follow the functionality. If economic, ecological and aesthetic parameters fit together, then it's good. Especially if a building can also be put to good use. The long service life of a property must take centre stage, people must enjoy using it. Otherwise, there will be fluctuation and vacancies, which in turn harms the lifespan.
Where do you see the strengths of Hawlik Gerginski?
Hawlik Gerginski responds very specifically to the needs of the client. They don't just focus on the "artistic management of the project", but take the practical aspects into account. It is also worth mentioning that there is always a good atmosphere, the co-operative climate takes centre stage.
What fond memories do you have of the joint project?
I can't really emphasise any particular event. That is also more important than individual highlights, we will continue to work together.
The motto of Hawlik Gerginski is "One+One=Three" - efficient work, human behaviour and powerful ideas - what constitutes a powerful idea for you?
In our collaboration, we had the requirement to construct a "sensible" building. And that's exactly what we realised. For me, this is the best proof that the idea for this building has the necessary power.
