The office building with its striking pyramid was designed by architect Diether S. Hoppe in the 1990s. In 2008, SWARCO-Futurit Verkehrssysteme GmbH acquired the building and commissioned HUSS HAWLIK Architekten with the fundamental reorganisation. Storage areas were converted into offices and the entrance situation was upgraded with a new vestibule. A finely detailed reception desk welcomes employees and customers to the new European headquarters of Swarco Futurit. In 2016, a storey was added to an extension during ongoing operations and now forms the company's flagship building.
